I’m so excited to have launched a yoga studio this year, as it has always been my passion to help people in their quest to “get well”. As a full-time counselor I have been dedicated to improving people’s mental health. One of the common recommendations I give to my clients is to get into a regular exercise regimen, as exercise can increase certain neurotransmitters in the brain and help decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression. My original plan was to become a personal trainer and offer such services to my clients; however, in my personal life I began to experience the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of yoga. It was only after I experienced improvements in my own life, that I decided that providing yoga to people was, in my opinion, one of the best ways I can help people heal.
